Inboard Romilly SOLD

For sale Romilly Ry3 “Ruby” with inboard diesel engine

Ruby has benefited from a thorough engine overhaul in the last year and is now lying on the Hamble.

Ruby was built for Sir Richard Stilgoe by the original builders Dartington Boatworks in 1996. She was the 3rd Romilly built and the first, and one of the few, with an inboard diesel engine. Ruby was mover to the Netherlands in 1998 and was sailed extensively in there and around the Friesian Islands.

The inboard engine gives a great sense of security as she starts reliably, uses little fuel, and pushes Ruby along at 5kts all day if necessary.

She is fitted out, and has been maintained, to an extremely high standard as described below.

The hull is Oxford Blue, the sails a natural tan colour, interior and additional cockpit cushions are blue.
